It’s cold.

He’s cold a lot more now, He’s noticed. Steven said that effects like that were normal. Still, it’s distracting while he’s trying to do his homework.
At least it’s harder to think about the tournament
(he lost)
(he did EVERYTHING and he still wasn’t enough)
(He needs to be better than that)
He turns his music up.

At least this is the last of his homework for the day. Once he gets this done he needs to work on his MECH. He was too unsettled by that. . . pull to get much work done on Castle yesterday.
(He didn’t even notice a failing wire)
(Why did he deserve to be on that stage)
(He’ll be worthy now)

Did it get colder?
He sighs, closing his notebook. He’s not going to get any more work done like this.
(‘Course he can’t focus. When has he ever focused on what actually matters)
He has a bit before he has to leave for the bus. He might as well do something productive and finish reviewing his matches.
(Why wasn’t he good enough)
. . . It’s one of his matches with Angie.
He doesn’t. He doesn’t want to-
(Did it get a little warmer)
Why did she say that
Why did she say that to him
He’s not-
He doesn’t need that.
He doesn’t need any of that.
He doesn’t want any of that.
(“You’re going to become something beautiful”)
(No he won’t)
(When has beauty ever been associated with him)
It’s freezing.
Oh! Looks like it’s time to leave (It’s not) He needs to grab his things. (at least the cold outside is real)
